Joseph Abell House
Craig Paul Studio is proud to be housed in the Joseph Abell House that was built in 1803 and located in Middletown, Kentucky. This home is listed on the National Register of Historical Places.
The building that Craig Paul Studio is located in was the main house of Joseph Abell's 600 acre plantation. It includes a secret entry to the underground railroad, which is believed to be one of the last locations the slaves would be housed in before crossing the Ohio River.
The grounds and home hold much inspiration towards Craig's style in his photography and the grounds he personally tends to. The grounds are currently filled with over 25 different varieties of flowers, native trees and blanketed with beautiful ivy. Craig has recently installed a natural stone patio that has held many gatherings, parties and even a fashion show.
